Scott & Amanda's story could only be woven in the looms of Heaven. The story is one of grief, loss, and heartbreaks... but, ultimately, of love. Scott was Amanda's ministry leader well over thirty years ago in Bible college. Life, as it does, began to unfold. 

Scott married Kay and headed into ministry. For the next thirty years, they did life, ministry, and family. Kay was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, and for the next decade she bravely fought as Scott stood faithfully by her side. Scott was holding her as she passed over into her Savior's arms. 

Amanda married Chad, and they, too, headed into life, ministry, and family. Over the years, they pastored, lead college and Christian school ministries, and ran a business. Chad was diagnosed with throat cancer and battled it bravely as Amanda stood by his side. 

Scott & Amanda were navigating the waters of grief, both losing their best friends. After thirty years, God brought them together - at first to help each other cope, make sense of, and deal with the crushing blow of grief and loss. During this time they fell in love and believed it was God's will to be married. 

Together, this couple brings compassion, wisdom, and experience that very few can testify of. It's exciting to see what God can and is doing with broken pieces.
